Itinerary:
Day 1: Check-in at The Yeatman Hotel – Luxury Wine Hotel & Spa
As your flight is approaching the airport, be transported by the fascinating views of the city of Porto! Soon, you will be wandering around those typical unique streets, which are full of culture and authenticity. Upon your arrival at the airport, expect a short drive, where your chauffeur will take you to your luxury wine Hotel & Spa. Here, at The Yeatman Hotel, renowned as the best hotel in Porto, you´ll be staying for the following 6 nights. We invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the spectacular interior design The Yeatman has to offer.
Day 2: Unique tour around the City – with Tapas, Wine Tasting & Fado
During this day, you will be introduced to the taste, view and sound of the city.
A relaxing private guided tour will be available for you, which will show you the architectural landscapes of the city. After your tour, your tour guide will take you to a special typical tapas restaurant where you’ll be introduced to the melody of our special Fado together with the delicate taste of the City, a glass of Port and a traditional tapas dinner.
Day 3: Scenic Arrábida Bridge Climb
We invite you to discover the most unusual view of the River Douro! We challenge you for an adventure, to walk up one of the most iconic bridges in Porto – the famous Arrábida Bridge and enjoy the experience to the full. Once you reach the top, you´ll have a little “taste” of what Porto is all about. Don´t forget to smile, as you´ll have some photos taken by a drone for unforgettable memories!
Day 4: Art & Architecture Painting Tile Workshop
Get inspired by the beautiful facades of the Portuguese traditional building and bring your own ceramic tile to life. Tiling is a big part of Portugal’s culture, which has become a world heritage – so during your tile painting workshop, you´ll be invited to paint a tile, either your own inspiration or one that fully resembles a pattern that is still embellishing one of the city’s buildings. After your artwork session, be prepared to be invited to find the original building to where your tile belongs!
Day 5: Helicopter Historic City Tour
View the city from above in an unforgettable experience…Welcome on board and fasten your seatbelts! Enjoy our flight with exceptional views of the Douro and the heart of the old town of Porto, with an introduction to all of the architectural monuments and referential buildings. Admire the wonderful views of the city, the traditional port wine cellars and the remarkable D. Luís bridge at 10 000 feet of altitude.
Day 6: Leisurely Day
Enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared at your hotel, whilst admiring the glow of the morning sunshine reflected over the Douro river. Today, you are free to do anything you want to. You can walk alongside the river, or book through us, a special Wine Tasting experience in the Douro Valley, a Classical music concert at Casa da Música or even a Hot Air Balloon ride overlooking the city! Day 7: Your Farewell
It is time to say goodbye to the city of Porto, as your private chauffeur is driving you to the airport.
